Meetings yesterday and today with friends from Brussels following the
“Choose Europe for Science” announcement continued with:
🇪🇺✨ Strengthening European Collaboration – from the Historic Heart of Paris to the Future of Innovation in Skopje
It was an honor and privilege for
H.E. Ex Ambassador Jordan Plevnes, President of Academia Balkanica Europeana,
to meet with Prof. Dr. Stéphane Braconnier, President of Université Panthéon-Assas,
and his team member Charlie Roullet, Chief of Staff.
The meeting continued with a long and fruitful discussion with:
🎓 Prof. Dr. Fabrice d’Almeida – Vice-President in charge of Publications and Media
🌍 Prof. Dr. Emmanuelle Chevreau – Vice-President for International Development
The discussions focused on exploring strategic academic and innovation-based cooperation
between European partners.
🏛️ Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, ideally situated in the historical heart of Paris on
the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève, stands on the legacy of the first European academic institutions.
📚 From Robert de Sorbon’s foundation in 1253 to the University’s royal and papal recognition
in the 13th century, the Sorbonne’s legacy continues to shape the world of
⚖️ legal excellence and 🎓 academic excellence.
Today, our talks focused on:
🤝 Connecting Panthéon-Assas with the European Excellence Center – SPACE Science Park Skopje
🇪🇺 Strategic participation in EU-funded cooperation through the
ACRID Network (Applied Collaboration for Research, Innovation & Development)on EU funding and EU projects in Faculty of Law and Economics for two projects on AI in Public and International Law, then Behavioral Economics Project, Media Innovations, and project proposals from Social Sciences, Culture and Heritage.
🌱 Empowering VET, research, and innovation through joint
Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and legal-innovation initiatives.
The partnership aims to align deep academic traditions with forward-looking action for the
2026–2036 green and digital transformation, spanning:

🔹 Startups, entrepreneurship & Business Angels
🔹 Cultural and creative industries
