🇪🇺 The future of Erasmus+ is taking shape. The Council last week has officially agreed its position on the Erasmus+ Programme for 2028–2034, an important milestone for the next generation of European education, youth and sport cooperation.The proposed direction sends a very clear message:
🔹 Stronger focus on quality and long-term impact
🔹 Continued support for education, youth and grassroots sport
🔹 Greater inclusion, EU values and international cooperation
🔹 Expanded opportunities for transnational learning and mobility
🔹 A proposed budget of €40.8 billion for the next 7 years
Erasmus+ is no longer only a mobility programme. It is becoming one of Europe’s strongest strategic tools for educational transformation, international collaboration and sustainable development.
In the coming years, institutions that build meaningful partnerships, create real impact and develop sustainable internationalisation strategies will stand out even more.
