The Centre for Development of the Southeast Planning Region, in collaboration with SEBCoVE project partners – EmkiceKIC and the Union of Chambers of Commerce of North Macedonia, is organizing the third regional event, “Tripartite Cooperation for Green and Digital Transformation” (Knowledge Triangles), taking place in Strumica.
The event was officially opened by:

✅ Mr. Goran Gjorgjievski – Vice President of the Union of Chambers of Commerce of North Macedonia
✅ Mr. Ilija Vuckov – Director of Emkice & National Coordinator of the SEBCoVE Project
Objective: The SEBCoVE project fosters structured dialogue and long-term cooperation between local government, academia, and the private sector, with a strong focus on green and digital transformation as key drivers of sustainable regional development.
The event features three thematic panel discussions, where mayors, university professors, and industry representatives will share insights and experiences:
Panel 1: Local Strategies for Smart and Energy-Efficient Construction
Panel 2: Academia as a Driver of Innovation in Smart and Sustainable Buildings
Panel 3: The Construction Sector & Energy Efficiency: Challenges and Opportunities
Key milestone: Signing of Memoranda of Cooperation with faculties from the three major state universities:
🔹 University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola
🔹 University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” – Skopje
🔹 University “Goce Delchev” – Shtip
These agreements, covering mechanical engineering, architecture, and electrical engineering, will strengthen cross-sectoral partnerships and promote collaborative efforts in developing sustainable solutions for the future.
