Over €43 million in EU funding for 15 New Projects that support Career Building, Staff Exchanges and employability for Researchers

The Horizon Europe ‘ERA Talents’ call for proposals, which closed last September, saw a remarkable increase in interest compared to the previous one in 2022, jumping from 16 to 117 proposals submitted.

15 projects were selected for funding, with grant agreements now signed for durations of up to 4 years. They will contribute to:

  1. A stronger research and innovation (R&I) talent base in Widening countries, with more skilled and entrepreneurial researchers, innovators and research managers.
  2. Better geographical and cross-sector mobility of R&I professionals.
  3. Greater access for private entities to public R&I institutions, infrastructures and expertise across Europe and beyond.
  4. Improved employability and long-term career opportunities for R&I professionals in both academic and non-academic sectors.
