A welcome reception was held in Lisbon as part of a forum focused on startups, innovation and the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems, hosted by Lisbon Mayor Carlos Moedas.
The event took place at Unicorn Factory Lisboa, one of the Portuguese capital’s key hubs supporting innovative startups and entrepreneurial initiatives, with the support of the Lisbon City Council.
The forum opened with an official welcome reception at the Ministry of Environment and Energy in Lisbon, followed by a visit to Unicorn Factory Lisboa, where participants had the opportunity to learn more about initiatives supporting startups, innovation and cooperation between entrepreneurs, institutions and investors.
The discussions focused on exchanging experiences and good practices in creating a supportive environment for the development of startup companies, with particular emphasis on innovation, new technologies and sustainable economic growth.
The visit to Unicorn Factory Lisboa provided participants with an insight into Lisbon’s approach to supporting startups and the role of local government in building a dynamic innovation ecosystem.
