The international meeting on Traditional & Complementary Medicine and the Erasmus+ Medi BEEB project has commenced in Wroclaw, Poland, led by Türkiye. The event brings together scientists from Italy, Lithuania, Poland, and Türkiye to explore the use of bee products in traditional and complementary medicine.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Kemal Çelik, a leading Turkish scientist on the project, emphasized that despite pressures from major pharmaceutical companies, the use of traditional methods, herbal treatments, and bee products is becoming increasingly widespread worldwide.
He highlighted that natural treatment methods, practiced for over 3,000 years, continue to provide highly effective solutions in modern healthcare.
