
Deniz Tetik is a Brussels-based projects-career professional in international politics and security with hands-on experience across EU-funded projects, proposal development, and multistakeholder coordination.
She holds an MSc in International Politics from KU Leuven, where she researched EU–NATO interorganizational security cooperation in post-conflict settings (case: Bosnia & Herzegovina). Previously, she gained hands-on experience supporting international development proposals for donor-funded projects, assisted the delivery of an EU-funded vocational training project at the Shipyard & Warehouse Workers’ Union of Turkey is officially known as Türkiye Liman, Deniz, Tersane ve Depo İşçileri (Liman-İş). This union represents workers in dock, maritime, shipyard, and warehouse industries and is affiliated with the European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF) and the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) Global. Its headquarters are located in Ankara, Türkiye, contributed to the preparation of proposals from various donor organizations (the EU, UN, ADB), and handled communications and PR tasks.
