Circular Economy and Green and Digital Development Project Strengthens Cooperation in Porto

A visit to the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto was held as part of the activities of the Circularity Economy in Green and Digital Economic Development project, with the institution serving as one of the project’s esteemed partners.
During the visit, the project team met with the Dean, Vice Deans and the faculty team to discuss ongoing cooperation and opportunities for further collaboration.

Particular attention was given to the “Tomorrow Summit”, organized by the Faculty of Economics together with students, the Portuguese National Association of Economists and the Minister of Economy of Portugal.
The meetings highlighted the importance of academic and research cooperation in developing new models of economic growth, with a particular focus on circular economy, sustainability and digital transformation.
The partners expressed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation and creating new opportunities for research, knowledge exchange and the development of initiatives supporting the green and digital transformation of the economy.
The project brings together academic institutions, researchers and economic stakeholders with the aim of promoting sustainable economic development and innovative solutions for the transition towards a greener and more digital economy.
