As part of an institutional visit, the ACRID Network engaged in high-level discussions with Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), a distinguished academic institution with 1,350 faculty members and a student body of 35,000 (https://en.beun.edu.tr/).
The visit included a productive exchange with Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı ÖZÖLÇER and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Şenol Hakan KUTOĞLU, focusing on strategic cooperation in EU funding opportunities and research-driven initiatives.
A key component of the visit was the EU Funding Meeting, Training, and Info Day, which centered on Centralized Erasmus+ projects and their potential impact on institutional capacity building.
This engagement marks the foundation for future collaboration in Horizon Europe, with planned initiatives set to commence in 2025.
